Pitt Town Series

The ‘Pitt Town’ has been designed as a two storey building with a raked ceiling following the roof pitch of 30 degrees.

With its boarded upper floor overhanging the ground floor and half gabled lean-to, this barn authentically reflects the characteristics of the old barns of Pitt Town, NSW.

The upper floor can continue throughout the barn’s length or a section of the floor can be omitted to create a visual spacial link between the upper and lower floors. Access to the upper floor can be via an internal or external stair. As with the ‘Fiddletown‘ this barn has a range of dormer windows to choose from.

Maximum usuable space on the upper floor, generous overhangs and a traditional profile characterises the ‘Pitt Town’. The versions on this site range from a functional farm building to a grand three bedroom home.
